أسباب فقر الدم عند الأطفال

سيدتي الأم،إن فقر الدم يحدث عند الأطفال نتيجة نقص كمية الحديد في الجسم، وهو الذي تصنع منه كريات الدم الحمراء التي تحمل الأكسجين إلى باقي أجزاء الجسم والدماغ، والعمر المتوقع لحدوث ذلك يتراوح بين 9 شهور إلى 24 شهراً، لأنه خلال فترة الشهور الستة الأولى من عمر الطفل يكون لدى الجسم كمية حديد مختزنة تكفيه خلال تلك الفترة، ولكن بعدها مباشرة يبدأ الجسم في البحث عن الحديد في طعام الطفل اليومي، لذا فمن الممكن حدوث فقر الدم لديه لعدم حصوله على التغذية الصحيحة لهذا المرحلة من عمره.

• ومن مظاهر فقر الدم:
- شحوب اللون.
- قلق واضطراب.
- الرغبة في تناول أشياء غير عادية كالثلج أو القاذورات.

• وفي حالة الأنيميا الحادة يكون الطفل:
- مضطرباً ولديه شهية شغيفة للطعام.
- زيادة ضربات القلب وسرعة في التنفس.
- تضخم وخفقان في القلب.

• ومن الأطعمة الغنية بعنصر الحديد:
- الكبد: تعطى للطفل مرة واحدة على الأقل أسبوعياً، لأنها أكثر الأطعمة احتواء على الحديد.
- اللحوم: تعطى للطفل ثلاث مرات أسبوعياً على الأقل.
- الدجاج والأسماك: تعطى للطفل ثلاث مرات أسبوعياً على الأقل.

• والإغذية التي تحتوي على كميات معقولة من الحديد:
- الخضراوات الطازجة: مثل السبانخ، والكرنب، والقرنبيط، والفاصوليا.
- منتجات الحبوب (الخبز والمكرونة).
- العدس. .
